Haggling Guide
We Love Haggling!
At 56bits, we believe that haggling is a fun way to create a win-win situation: you get a good deal, and we make a sale!
Please feel free to contact us and make an offer on anything we have for sale!
If you're new to haggling and feeling a bit shy, feel free to simply ask "can you do a discount?" - you don't have to put a number out there if you're not comfortable.
Haggling Etiquette
Of course, there's a bit of etiquette when it comes to haggling, and as with any negotiation it's always important to keep in mind what you're bringing to the table.
Some questions to ask yourself when making an offer are:
- Has an item been sitting on the shelves for a while?
- Am I buying in bulk?
- How can I reduce business costs for the seller (transaction fees, shipping)?
If you're looking for a discount on an item that's been sitting on the shelves for 18 months, or you want to purchase 10 games at once and save us a ton on "free" shipping, we can absolutely sort something out.
If you want a discount on an item we constantly run out of stock for, or need us to ship something bulky to a regional area, then we might not be able to help. But at the end of the day, the worst we can say is no!
